3 Wedding Guest Looks You Should Own

I’ve had my fair share of weddings the last couple of years and as a guest, I’ve purchased a couple of dresses too. One thing I’ve noticed is that finding a dress for a wedding can be challenging, and if you have more than one wedding a year…dress shopping can get expensive. This year, I decided to repurpose as many outfits as I could so that I wouldn’t have to buy a new dress for every wedding. From the looks I put together, it was finally clear to me why I was able to re-wear them. Here are 3 dress styles and looks you should own for your next wedding: 1. The Elegant Feminine Look This Zara dress was purchased 3 seasons ago and I managed to pull it off at 3 different weddings. The solid mustard yellow makes it… View Post

The Vintage & Antique Jewelry Store You Should Know About

I’ve spent most of my time shopping for clothes and handbags that I never actually dedicated time to buying jewelry. Fashion jewelry has always been a part of my wardrobe, but it wasn’t until after I was engaged that I started to appreciate fine jewelry for the first time. It also didn’t occur to me that up until then, I hadn’t worn a piece of jewelry that was designed to fit me, and only me. Most of us don’t think to travel outside of NYC to find those one of a kind pieces, but if you could find them at a cheaper price…is it worth it? So there I was…off to Princeton, New Jersey (just 1 hour outside of NYC) to visit Hamilton Jewelers sister store, H1912. As soon as I entered the store, I immediately knew it was worth… View Post

A Timepiece to Add to Your Wardrobe: JORD Watches

Knowing how to style accessories can be tricky, so I always try to remind myself not to over do it. I tend to wear enough to make an outfit pop, and just a little to make my accessories stand out too. Recently, I’ve been wearing timeless pieces that are still trendy but classic, that I can wear everyday, and that look attractive next to my closet and jewelry wardrobe. For me, it’s all about getting the most use out of my accessories, and I’ve already gotten a lot of wear out of my new watch from JORD. JORD Watches are known for their high-end craftsmanship, sustainability, and natural wood materials, so it really makes you feel like you’re wearing a one of a kind piece. The Cassia Zebra & Ivory JORD Watch (pictured above), is a modern simple design, but… View Post

Amsterdam, A Must Visit.

I can’t believe this is my first travel post and to think this trip was unexpected. Luke and I wanted to take a short getaway for MLK weekend and figured why not leave the city? When we were searching for flights, we had no idea where we wanted to go but we knew it was going to be out of the country. Domestic flights are overly priced these days, so it was worth going to visit somewhere on our bucket list. We ended up booking flights to Amsterdam through Norwegian Airlines and paid $450 round trip. We had enough leg room to sprawl out for our 6-7 hour flight and although no food, we were able to bring snacks on the plane. Norwegian charges you extra for your seat so we decided to wait until we arrived to the airport.… View Post

Jayley, A Contemporary Fashion Brand

It wasn’t until I started blogging, that I made it a point to become familiar with clothing brands I didn’t know existed. I figured if I didn’t know about them, others might not know either, so this would be my opportunity to share. That’s when it occurred to me that maybe it was time to broaden my horizons and take a break from the brands I’ve been loyal to, in order to discover new ones… and that is what brings me to Jayley, an England contemporary fashion brand I instantly fell in love with. Jayley focuses on premium fabrics for women such as fur, silk, and devore. They have a strong emphasis on sustainability and the importance of ensuring all of their fabrics are ethically sourced. Funny enough, I received a message via Instagram from someone telling me I should… View Post
